The picture above is what the front yard looked like when we moved in. It was terribly overgrown with an odd assortment of bushes and shrubs. The single tree in the yard off to the left of the planter was completely dead, and had been for several years according to our neighbors. (it's the tree that looks like a fork in the picture above)So, one fine summer day my awesome parents came over with their arsenal of tree and lawn tools and helped us remove our dead tree.
